"Right on the money again Brian!
99% of folks at a mobile gig are there for fun - the DJ's job is to enhance that.
There is of course always that 1% who are also "DJ's" that look closely at what you use and comment.. I always answer them "So you have tonight off then? Where are you gigging?" Most either shut up or smile knowingly and get on with enjoying themselves :)
I enjoy the bedroom bangers the most - I point them to the DJ Tutor web site and vids.. then I tell them to follow their dream!"

Here's the Chop Job video I did a while back. Please check it out to see how I made the loop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ztzl_VYlX4 Just having a mess around with the Pioneer CDJ 400 CD Turntables & Pioneer DJM 400 Mixer. There are some who feel this is the original source material and others who say it isn't. Reguardless, I caught some rather nice jets, or phases in this video. Enjoy! http://www.djtutor.com/briansredd/my_mixes

Here are a few of the sets I was going to try to do videos on at Mobile Beat Chicagoland 2008, but it was just way too loud to even try to film anything there. These are a few songs that a Mobile DJ probably owns, may play, and can practice beatmixing with. We use the American Audio SDJ1 MP3 player & Q-SD Mixer, but you can use whatever gear you have available to you to get these same results If you'd like to see more videos like this, just let me know Enjoy! http://www.djtutor.com/briansredd/my_mixes http://www.djtutor.com/briansredd/how_to

Another turntable practice video. Sometimes it's hard to get time to work on this stuff, so I do my best to make time. http://www.djtutor.com/briansredd/my_mixes

It's been a few weeks and not too much practice, but I have taken all of DJ Andre's suggestions and put them into this video. Again, this is practice only! Please feel free to offer any suggestions you may have. http://www.djtutor.com/briansredd/my_mixes

I thought I'd start doing some videos of drills I'm doing with turntables. It's just practice, but I thougth I'd post it all for you to see. I can then look back to see how I've progressed. http://www.djtutor.com/briansredd/my_mixes
