http://www.djtutor.com/mixing2 I set the mixer to reverse delay and the turntable to reverse, so depending on the mixer being set to 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 bats you will get the beat still in time but you get the vocals chopped up! I'm sure you can take this to the next level.

http://www.djtutor.com/mixing2 http://www.djtutor.com/genres In this video i give you an example of how to mix old school funk. You must remember that this style most of the time had no drum machine keeping the timing, it was a real drummer and so in turn the BPM( beats per minuit) was always slightly changing. toons are Level 42 , " Love games" The Brothers Johnson " Get the funk out of my face"

http://www.djtutor.com/mixing2 The idea here is to use the two pitches on the two turn tables as aposed to using the platter or jog wheel to slow/ speed the track. Using this method is the same as using the pitch and the jog wheel on just the one cdj/ vinyl turntable.
