Hi YouTube, I am a 16 year old Electro House and Dubstep DJ, just started a new channel to change a few things and try to be different. My last channel did not ever reach over 400 views for any video and I am hoping to just gain feedback in higher levels and progress on. I would highly appreciate it if you could click on my channel and listen to my new mix and just leave a comment and like/dislike. Please thumbs this up so others can see this, I want to make you dance! Thanks, Sheppz

How to enter?

Just upload a ten minute mix, as a response to this video
That's all. You don't have to give your name, you don't have to say anything, you don't have to put in the tenminmix tag anymore. Just do a mix using any DJ gear, thats it!
Please put a tracklist in the description.

The Rules

Your video should be between 9 minutes 30 seconds and 10 minutes 30 seconds in length (but videos entered before the end of June 2011 will be accepted if they are between 9 minutes and 15 minutes)
We must be able to see you mixing. A still picture or series of stills is not acceptable. Video effects and credits are alright as long as we can still see you mixing.
Beat-matching should be manual.
Entries received before 23:00 GMT will be entered in this month's competition. Entries received after that time will be entered in next month's competition.
We will only look at one entry per person per month.
Previous first-place winners may not enter.
Previous winners of other competitions may enter.

How are the winners picked?

Anyone who has sent in a video to DJ Tutor can judge.
Their votes are combined with the youtube ratings, to give a shortlist of 20 mixes. This is usually done within a week of the end of the competition.
Johnathan looks at the shortlist and picks the top ten.

Who votes for the shortlist?

Anyone who has sent in a video to DJ Tutor is eligible to vote IF they can be seen in the video. These votes are used to compile a shortlist.
So if you have entered the tenminmix, mashup, back2back or DJMag Micromix competitions, or sent in a ten minute mix, or a Profilez video, or are an Import , you can judge.
You can judge a competition you have entered, but you cannot give less than 5 points.
You cannot judge your own mix.
You can judge each mix once.
To log in you will be redirected to Youtube to give us access to your Youtube username. We cannot access any passwords or personal information that is not already visible on your Youtube channel page.

Guidelines

Mixes will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Quality of mixing
2. Construction of mix.
3. Choice of music - ie: selection of tracks that work well together.

Mixes will not be judged based on the genre of music you play, your appearance, scratching skills or cool video effects.
The competition is about mixing.
